Cliff and family, My sincere condolences to you and your family. May God pour down special blessings on you and your family during your time of bereavement. With much love always, Tina Brown

Margaret, Cliff and Kathy, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. More than forty years have passed since I last saw Ruth--and the three of you. She taught me an important lesson during our days in Halcyon Bluff and it was an old friend from there who mentioned her passing. I hope she had a soft landing.

- Walt Campbell, Durham, NC

Margaret Ann and family, I know your heart is breaking, just as mine did when I lost my dear mother in 2010. Your Mom and I always had a special relationship, from the time we met at Jacob G. Smith to the later friendship she shared with my Mama and her and I sending Christmas cards to one another every year. Remember the good times and know that you will see her again. Love to you and your family. Diane

A lovely lady and long-time Isle of Hope legend. ! I remember when my mother, Carolyn Solana, sold the house to your parents! Everyone was so excited. Miss Ruth and Cliff , were the best of the best generation. You have a wonderful heritage.

Dear Wilson Family: I loved Ruth, one of the most cheerful, enthusiastic, and energetic persons I have ever known. She was not only Johnathan's grandmother, Margaret's Mom, but a true friend to me when I served in various capacities at the Garden Center and SACGC. Her wise counsel and commitment to Savannah's history, and her loyalty to her volunteer jobs, was profound. How our community will miss this lovely lady!!!!Helen Marshall

Through the years, I have so many happy memories of Ruth and your family! She was truly someone who lived life to the fullest and always enjoyed people, especially her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She never seemed to meet a stranger. I loved her and will miss her. Blessings to all of Ruth's family!

I am so sorry for your loss. At 1 Corinthians 15:26, God promises,"The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Jesus also assures us "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ( John 5:28, 29 )". May this bring you a measure of comfort in your time of grief.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dear love one. We all know that the sting of death is very painful, however, Almighty God promise that soon death will be swallowed up forever along with the pain and sorrow it brings. (Isaiah 25: 8) May this hope along with the wonderful memories you have of Ruth help you to cope.
